Urban planning and restoration program 122.000 mc and eighteenth century villa recovery

2003

The urban planning and restoration program covers a large former church property (330,000 mc) consisting of an eighteenth-century villa (which belonged to the mathematician Gaetana Agnesi), annexed cottages and farmlands, partially included in an inter-municipal agricultural park and two small residential buildings. The project involves the sale of the villa for social/health uses (with funding of the corresponding project), the placement of 33 residents in lodgings obtained from the restoration of the dilapidated cottages, the sale of 270,000 m² of areas for parks and urbanisation. The roads are all "softened", set below the level of the land with greenery. The project involves construction in three separate areas, totalling 122,000 residential mc, partly free (70%), partially subject to a convention with the Area Plan. (450 new living quarters, 33 renovated ones). Amount of works and costs € 12,000,000.
