Brugherio (MB) - Via Dante

Residential buildings, sede CARIPLO and two floors of garages - 13.500 mc

1996

Completing a regeneration plan, the new building fills in the gap in the central Via Dante left by the demolition of a decayed building. The building traces an L shape with a slightly raised part and the south face is rounded off by a gable designed and decorated with a sundial. The predominant material is hand-thrown face bricks; the windows have folding wooden shutters and are framed by thick grey pietra serena stone. The ground floor, with a partial portico, houses a bank branch. (76 apartments and shops on the ground floor)
